I am Vittorio Flaviano, a Canadian who loves to travel. In this post I'm going to tell you my impressions about Rome, one of the most visited cities in the world.
Rome is one of those cities that captivate you when you first look at the Coliseum or at a red scooter traversing its narrow streets. Known as the Eternal City, it is surrounded by ruins and history.
Roma Via Cavour, Via Nazionale, Roman Empire... I realized that at every corner you discover something new and every detail makes you more willing to explore it. Streets, fountains and restaurants welcome tourists that seek the best of this stunning city.
I saw travelers of the world admiring the Colosseum, symbol of the Roman empire, beautiful, impressive, simply colossal. After admiring the dome of the Pantheon, I took a lunch at Piazza Navona and then took a gelato in a gelateria.
In the evening I went to a cafe in Sant'Angelo castle that makes you know a Rome that goes beyond the wonderful pasta, a Rome that enchants travelers from all places in the world.
Anyway, this city is a place for all those who enjoy good food, good stories to tell and live, and a great place for anyone who wants to meet and make new friends.

Vittorio Flaviano goes to the Calgary Zoo
My name is Vittorio Flaviano and I'm not a child anymore, as you may have imagined, but I like to enjoy my days off visiting parks, watching games and doing outdoor activities. Going to the Zoo had been on my plans for a long time, until I got the opportunity to go to the Calgary Zoo.
As many of you may be aware, I live in Calgary, the most populous city of Alberta, so my friends Fred, Victor and I got to the Calgary Zoo on a beautiful Sunday in the morning.
The Calgary Zoo is one of the most beautiful areas in the city. Located just 5 minutes from downtown, the location is a large green area surrounded by the Bow River.
The zoo has over 1000 animals of various origins: Africa, Asia, Australia and North America. The variety of species is also great, especially elephants, tigers, panthers, hippos, zebras and giraffes.
After we had seen several tigers, an elephant and 2 giraffes, we visited two of the most popular attractions in this Zoo: the Australian kangaroos and koalas. Before we leave the Zoo we got to its fun park with life-size replicas of more than 20 types of dinosaurs. It was amazing!
I will never forget that visit to the Calgary Zoo and look forward to go there again.
